SOA API

Oracle E-Business Suite integration

A secure Sales Order API for Oracle EBS

Create and read sales orders in Oracle E-Business Suite through a modern, documented REST API — with OAuth 2.0 authentication, strict validation, safe retries and a full audit trail. Nothing talks to EBS in the clear.

What you can do

Create sales orders

Submit an order with one call. The gateway validates it, applies your permissions and hands it to Oracle EBS, then returns the order number.

Read order status

Look up an order by its number and get its header details and flow status back as clean JSON.

Retry without fear

Every create call carries an Idempotency-Key. A repeated request never creates a second order, even after a timeout.

OAuth 2.0 access

Standard client-credentials flow, short-lived signed tokens, and permissions limited to exactly what each application needs.

Encrypted everywhere

TLS on every connection, from your application to the gateway and from the gateway to Oracle EBS. Stored secrets are encrypted too.

Observable

Administrators see usage, error rates, latency and a tamper-evident audit trail in the console, and can test the EBS connection with one click.

How it works in four steps

  1. Get credentials. An administrator creates a client for your application and gives you a client id and secret (shown once).
  2. Request a token. POST /oauth/token with your credentials; you receive a bearer token valid for 10 minutes.
  3. Create the order. POST /api/v1/sales-orders with the token, a unique Idempotency-Key and the order as JSON.
  4. Check it. GET /api/v1/sales-orders/{orderNumber} returns the order header and status.
